How independence is kept
Personal capacity
Published in a personal capacity by M. V. Kaela. The interpretations and analytical choices are the publisher's own. Differences between sources are treated as questions about dates, definitions and evidence; they are not used to infer anyone's intent or honesty.
Not government-affiliated
This analysis is not affiliated with, commissioned by or endorsed by the Government of the Republic of Zambia or any of its agencies, including the Presidential Delivery Unit. It examines claims, not people, and holds wins and misses to the same standard.
Public sources only
It is built only from public sources, listed with their dates on the Sources page. No client data, proprietary datasets or restricted geographic layers are used.
What every page commits to
Sourced and dated
Every number links to its source and carries an as-of date. Where sources disagree, both are shown; they are never averaged.
Ours, and labelled
Arithmetic, readings and the proposed bands are labelled as ours. A band compares paces; it is not a forecast or a probability.
Dated snapshots
Pages are dated snapshots, updated when new official figures are released, with a public corrections log.
Newer figures welcome
Ministries, agencies and companies named here are welcome to send newer figures or corrections; each change is logged.
